Welcome to the Higgins Diggins Lions!

Lions International was founded in 1917 in Chicago and has grown to become the largest service organization in the world. There are now some 1.3 million members worldwide. Lions are best known for their commitment to providing services to those who are visually impaired, including providing eyeglasses, surgeries and other medicines for those in need.

Higgins Diggins Lions Club was chartered in 1978 and has a long record of service to the South Nevada County area. Our dedicated membership of Lions give freely of their time and resources to provide for the betterment of our community.

The Higgins Diggins Lions generally meet 6:30 pm the first and third Thursday of each month at:

The Roy Peterson Building is located at the northwest corner of Magnolia Road and East Hacienda Drive, approximately 2.1 miles from CA 49. From CA 49, go east on Combie Road to the first traffic light. Continue straight through the light onto Magnolia Road, past Lake Of The Pines. Continue on Magnolia Road, past the schools to East Hacienda. Turn north onto East Hacienda, the Roy Peterson Building is the first driveway on the left.
